I'm going to Bristol today see Mew play, I can't wait, one of my favourite bands at the moment.
I'm also going to take my poetry and make a home in the city centre tommorow and do a bit of 'street reading'. I haven't done this before, but have meaning to for a while, I'm looking forward to it, just hoping that when push comes to shove I don't lose my bottle!

- Hey, My name is Richard (Christopher) Thomas - I am occasionally using my middle name to avoid confusion with the singer/songwriter. I am a writer of sorts. I write both poetry and prose, but I guess it's fair to say that my writing mostly consists of poetry. I do poetry gigs anywhere I can. I have been lucky enough so far to read at Port Eliot Literature Festival; The Rambunctios Social Club at The Quay Club, Plymouth; The Barrelhouse, Totnes. I am also in a band called Scientist The Orange Pip, and occasionally I recite my poetry over the top of improvised pieces of music during gigs.
